Sticky Pork Ribs

Bite into our delicious American-style pork ribs made with Hellmann's® Real Mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and a little kick of chili powder.

  • 2 teaspoons Continental Superb Stock Chicken Powder
  • 2 teaspoons chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1.2 kg American-style pork ribs, cut in half
  • 2/3 cup apricot jam
  • 1/3 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar


  1. Preheat oven to 150°C.

  2. Combine stock powder and chili powder in small bowl; stir in oil. Rub ribs with chilli powder mixture, then arrange in shallow roasting pan. Cover with aluminium foil. Roast for about 2 1/2 hours, or until tender.

  3. Meanwhile, combine apricot jam, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise and vinegar in a small bowl; set aside.

  4. Barbecue, or oven-grill, ribs turning and brushing with Mayonnaise mixture frequently, until caramelized.
