Bacon Avocado Burger


Take your burger to a delicious level with bacon and a Hellmann's Mayonnaise and avocado dressing.

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 4 lean bacon rashers
  • 2 dollops Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 4 burger buns
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced


  1. Place the mince in a medium sized bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well. Divide the mince into 4 evenly sized balls then slightly flatten into burger shapes with the palms of your hands.

  2. Combine mayonnaise, lime zest and juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add avocado, toss to coat.

  3. Preheat a BBQ or chargrill pan, over medium-high heat.

  4. Cook the burgers on the flat plate for 4 - 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your liking. Cook bacon on the chargrill plate for 1 minute each side or until until crispy.

  5. Place the burgers onto the bun base. Top with tomatoes, onions, avocado mayonnaise and then finish with the crispy bacon and bun tops.
